I'm using the email software that installes with Ubuntu, Evolution. It has all the feature you'd expect.
But best of all, it's right up there in the top menu bar. | |
I'm using Evolution Mail to create simple HTML formatted mail messages. My primary mail system is Domino and HTML formatted mail messages is not the strongest feature in Domino. Since I need an SMTP server to send mail with Evolution, I'm using my Domino SMTP server.
But first things first. Evolutions Inbox lists. the messages and a preview of the message below. I will not use the Contacts, Calendar, Memos or Tasks except a short and simple test. |
To get the email going the way I expect, I have to run the configuration first.
From the Evolution Menu, select > Edit > Preferences.
If you are not familiar with the email setup in general, read here about the configuration. |
