Firefox needs the certificate in Firefox Certificate store.
Depending on the release you are running, Firefox prompts with a different security alert. |

Select the option to Accept this certificate permanently . The default does not store the certificate for the future.
Then click OK
Click Examine Certificate to review the certificate properties. See Certificate Viewer below for an example and important explanation. | |

| Click the link text at the bottom of the screen. | |
| Click Add Exception. | |
| Click Get Certificate | |
| Click Confirm Security Exception. | |

Click the view button above to review the certificate properties.
NOTE: The Fingerprint (Thumbprint) are different from the STDI Consulting Root certificate. The root certificate was used to sign the server certificate. You are reviewing the server certificate here. | |
| View certificates and delete certificates (Firefox 2 and 3) |
Launch Firefox. From the menu, select Tools > Options...
Select the Advanced options and click the Encryption tab.
Click View Certificates and find the certificate under the Web Sites tab or under the Authorities tab. Installing the certificate as an exception (the quick way when prompted), the certificates is stored under the Web Sites tab.
If you installed the certificate manually by importing the STDI-Root.cer file, it will show under the Authorities tab.
Highlight the certificate you wish to review or delete and click the appropriate action. |
